A/N - Totally out of character. This is one of my least favorite works but I decided to post it anyway since I'm dying of the lack of Jessica/Harvey and I bet some of y'all are too. So here it is. Enjoy.
It was twelve in the morning when his phone started ringing. He rolled over to the side where his phone was and picked it up, quite annoyed. "Harvey, it's Rachel Zane. I didn't know who else to call." Harvey just wanted to get the conversation overwith. "What is it?" he asked, rubbing the sleep off his eyes. "Jessica Pearson's here at the bar and she's drunk."
"Keep an eye on her. I'll be there in twenty minutes."
Harvey was there in less than twenty minutes. He spotted a familiar looking paralegal standing at one corner and figured it was Rachel. He walked up to her and asked where the managing partner was. She pointed at the dance floor where Jessica was dancing with a younger guy who seemed more interested in dancing the night away than the woman he was with. He thanked Rachel and walked over to Jessica and pulled her away from the crowd. The younger guy followed, curious as to who just pulled the girl he'd picked up from the bar away. "Find someone else to take advantage of, buddy." Harvey said as Jessica took a seat on the bar. "Vodka, please." she told the bartender but Harvey shook his head and told the bartender to get her some water instead.
The younger guy who had picked up Jessica from the bar earlier shot him a confused look. "You her boyfriend or something?" He shook his head, "No, but I'm going to have to kick your ass if you don't walk away." he threatened, scaring the guy into leaving. Rachel walked up to them and told him she was going to head home. Harvey thanked her again and watched as the paralegal walked off.
Jessica was finished with the glass of water when he turned to look at her. He chuckled loudly when he realized she probably thought it was vodka. This was the first time he's ever seen Jessica Pearson drunk. She was quite the drinker. Jessica, Donna, and himself went out for drinks one night and he was pretty sure she had five to six glasses of liquor by the end of the night but she was still sober enough to go back to finish her work at Pearson Hardman.
He payed her tab and pulled her up from her seat. "Come on, let's get you home." he helped her out of the bar and into the backseat of his Tesla. "Harvey went to Harvard and works at Pearson Hardman." she slurred as soon as he got into the driver's seat. "That's a lot of Har's."
"Jessica? Where do you live?"
"At home," she responded, a hint of innocence in her voice.
"No shit."
He decided to take her to his house since he really didn't know where she lived. She never shared her exact address. All he knew was that she lived in downtown New York.
Jessica fell asleep on the way to Harvey's penthouse. He opened the door and grabbed her purse and hung it on her shoulder before taking the managing partner in his arms. "You're sleeping here tonight because I have no idea where the hell you live." he whispered, as they stepped into the elevator. "Harvey?" Jessica whispered in her sleep. Harvey tried to ask if she was awake but he got nothing but silence as a response. He opened the door to his home and settled her on his bed. He placed her purse on the nightstand and began to take off her shoes. He wrapped a blanket around her and grabbed another one from the closet then went back to sleep on the couch.
