Quote from New Earth: NURSE: "...I can hear him singing, sometimes. In my mind... such ancient songs..."

It was true-the Face of Boe knew some very old songs, songs that were no longer sung by anyone but himself. He was a very old creature and he had a big head full of information from 5 billion years worth of being.

The song that just so happened to be stuck in his head today was such an old song that even the Face himself couldn't quite recall where it had come from.

"Row row row your boat

Gently down the stream

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily

Life is but a dream..."

The Doctor grinned through the glass, catching the tune and humming along inside his own mind, adding his voice to the chorus.

"Not bad, Doctor. Not bad at all," said the Face of Boe to his friend.

The Doctor blushed. "I try."
