I don't know were this came from- I already know Argent is an alien! But I had this really weird dream were I got attacked and burnt, and somehow didn't die from the fire that destroyed my house, and somehow became fire resistant, and then my skin changed colors and my hair became charred and black and... wow, it sounds even weirder once i write it down... it's a short little drabble- about my weird dream were i turn into Argent.
Just so you know... my name is Hazel Penny.
You Won the Battle, I Won the War
Argent used to be known as Hazel Penny, the pretty, smart, shy brunette that attended Birchwood Boarding School for boys and girls in elementary, middle and high school. She was the top of the class, everyone's friend, and dating the most popular boy in school.
Until what people know referred to as 'The Fire' which led to a chain of events, one of which was Hazel changing her name to Argent, the girl with silvery grey skin, dark red eyes, spikey black hair with cherry red bangs, a complete outfit change, and an 'A' carved between her collar bones.
After that, she broke up with her boyfriend, skipped out on school, and disappeared for five years… until the Teen Titans found her again.
Argent preferred to be alone, she considered herself a loner. She no longer went out in public areas, instead sticking to fixing dams and other things that needed fixing. She didn't much like General Immortus, even before she became a Teen Titans.
No one else really knew this, but it was all his fault Argent was the way she was…
His fault she had these powers, his fault she couldn't be hurt by fire, his fault she had to wear these gloves to cover the old burn marks, his fault that she no longer had pretty hazel eyes, chocolate brown ringlets, lots of friends, a family, a life…
She smiled to herself as she stood next to Jinx and Starfire at the Titans party. Even after all he'd put her through, she'd still have more than he'd ever had through all his thousands of years.
"Friend Argent! Let us play the Truth or Dare Friend Beast Boy speaks of!" Starfire said excitedly.
"Alright." I agreed, letting her lead me over to the group assembled.
'Maybe you won the battle, but I won the war.' I thought smugly
Yeah, this was weirder than I intended it to be.
