-1"Ouch!"

Wakaba sucked on her thumb after pricking it again with the needle. "Utena better thank me for this." As she continued stitching the torn sleeve in Utena's boyish uniform, started to hum a little to herself to keep herself company.

She didn't have much company nowadays, especially not Utena's. Ever since she started hanging around Anthy, Utena didn't seem to have quite as much time on her hands. Aside from that, she had also become popular among upperclassmen rather than just the middle schoolers. Wakaba used to take pride in the fact that she was the one closest to the wonderful Utena, but lately she was feeling completely forgotten.

Then today, she finally came back to her, but something seemed dead about her. When Wakaba asked why she was wearing the regular girl's uniform, she said it was because she had a tear in her usual jacket. Therefore Wakaba was fixing it, in an effort to put her back to normal. Even if you'll be around me as much as usual again, it's no fun seeing you not be Utena, she thought. Wakaba cut the thread and held the jacket out at arm's length to examine her handiwork. Even if you won't be around me much anymore… as long as you're still Utena, I'll be happy.
