She Knows the Truth
Amu exited her house and started walking down the street. It had been one year since Ikuto left. She missed him a lot. I wonder if he meant it when he said he loved me... She was still in deep thought about him, when her best friend Rima came up behind her.
Amu POV
"Amu, you okay?" I smiled. "Yes, I'm fine." Rima gave me a suspicious look. "I don't believe that." Before I could reply, Tadase walked up. "Good morning Amu-chan, Mashiro-san." "Good morning, Tadase-kun" We said in unison. That was a close one...
Normal POV
After school, Amu and Rima were walking home, but then Amu saw a kitten with blue eyes just like Ikuto's. She watched it walk into the park and sit down, watching her the whole time. "Rima, go on without me, I'll call you tonight." After a pause, Rima walked on. After she was gone, Amu carefully made her way over to the kitten. Looking down into those eyes, she could feel tears brimming. She ran over to a tree, sat down, and started to whisper. "Ikuto, how could you leave me? You said you loved me. I know the truth now, I-I love you too. Will you ever come back? If you do, will you still love me?"
Ikuto POV
Sitting in this tree, I started to doze off when I heard my little Amu's voice. "Ikuto, how could you leave me? You said you loved me. I know the truth now, I love you too. Will you ever come back? If you do, will you still love me?" I was surprised, I didn't think she believed me. Smirking, I jumped down and crept up on her. "I'm back, and yes, I do." She gasped and turned around. She blushed and stuttered, it's so cute when she does that... "I-Ikuto! Y-You heard t-that?" Smirking, I leaned closer. "Yes I did, my little strawberry." Her eyes widened. I took that as my cue, and leaned in closer.
Amu POV
Oh my gosh, what's he doing? Is he going to...kiss me? I closed my eyes as he got ever closer. Soon, I felt his lips crashing against mine, and he picked me up off the ground, bridal style, carrying me into whatever lies ahead.
