Hi Again! I was surprised that there were people who would like my drabble about Jaden because I just thought that it was kind of, well, nuts. Lol. Oh well, thanks to Shinioni ate the strawberry and Kitcat for reviewing.

I am sorry to say that the drabble I'll Find You. I Promise. was only a one-shot drabble. I do plan on making more but it will be under a different title.

This one, however, concerns Zane Truesdale. No-one is really sure what went down in the time between Zane's underground duel and the first duel back in the Pros. So I'm going to try and fill in the blanks. Again, this is a drabble.

Enjoy!

X-X

He'd won in the underground dueling circuit against that stupid blob. He'd walked away with a renewed confidence. Shroud picked him up outside but Shroud didn't stay long. He smiled wickedly as he remembered Shroud's last shout before the limo drove away.

He knew he'd changed. For better or for worst, he just wasn't sure. He was winning again but winning had a price.

It had been two weeks now. He was still dueling around the city with the electro-shock bands he'd swiped from the underground dueling circuit. He was trying to get tougher so he could intimidate his opponents. Oh, what fun that will be.

Those he had dueled wound up in hospital with cases of exhaustion, partial insanity and seizures. He didn't care. Those duelists all deserved it. It was their punishment.

Most, he'd found, were just trying to steal from women in the dead of night but he quickly put a stop to that. But there were a few who were down right cruel in their crimes. A five-year old boy and his father were walking down one of the main streets of the city around 8 o'clock. They were laughing and joking with each other. The child rode on his fathers shoulders.

He'd watched from a distance. A memory of his own father and himself surfaced in his mind. It used to be all fun and games between them. But that all changed the day he was no longer an innocent child.

But this five year-old didn't have a clue of what would occur, just as he hadn't.

Then, he saw them. Two thugs in the corner of an alleyway that the child and his father were passing. They jumped out, knocking the father over and the boy onto the street. It was too much alike.

The five year-old was disoriented. He looked up at a flash and saw a huge truck speeding toward him. He screamed.

"Nathan!" The father yelled in fear. The thugs were holding him down. He couldn't get to his son without them leaving. But suddenly, the weight wasn't there. The father looked up to see a tall man dressed in black with dark aqua hair throwing the thugs into the alleyway mouth. But he didn't stop there. He then ran out on the street when the truck was a mere six yard away.

The father turned away.

The truck went by, having hit nothing. The father looked and realized his son wasn't in front of that truck.

He was right in front of him. But the man was gone, off to save another family from the same fate.
