Disclaimer: I do not own the anime Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto does. This is a one-shot because I don't have any idea what to do for a chapter story right now…so please don't ask me to turn it into a series.
Criticize
Sakura looked at herself in the mirror once again. Usually she would look over and think that she looked great. This time when she looked at her glass clone, she thought differently.
My pink hair is abnormal,
My body isn't really developed,
My shinobi abilities are weak,
My forehead's too big,
She tried to smile to make herself feel better but it came out weak and cracked. The fake grin turned back into a frown and she thought about herself, closing her eyes.
I'm too preppy,
I have a short temper,
I can only grab the attention of Lee-san and Naruto,
Sasuke-kun thinks I'm annoying,
…I am annoying…
A sigh escaped her lips and she rubbed her eyes at an attempt to get rid of the small moisture that had grown at the corners of her eyes. She fidgeted with her red dress and walked outside from her room out her home.
"Sakura-chan!"
Sakura walked on, despite the person calling her name, too mixed up in her thoughts to hear it.
"Sakura-chaaaan!"
A small tap on her shoulder tore her from her thoughts. "Eh?" She turned around and faced the grinning fox face of Naruto. Another sigh. "What is it, Naruto?" A flower had shown up in front of her face. She blinked at the flower and let a small smile form. She didn't know why it made her smile…she just seemed to feel better about herself…in some way. The small smile grew to a grin and she took the flower and twirled it in her hands.
"Arigato, Naruto…"
That moment when I was criticizing myself in front of that mirror…felt like a useless thing now…Thank you…Naruto…

NOTE Naruto is the one that makes Sakura feel better at the end because I couldn't think of an in character way for Sasuke to...but I am a HUGE SasuSaku fan and only a bit of NaruSaku...I won't change to being a full-fledged NaruSaku fan, don't worry. I'll try to put up more fanfiction!
