Author note; It's been a while, and even though I started on this story some time ago, I fished it up a few days ago and finished it. And since I have no use for it, I figured I just as well could post it. All errors are mine (still not english) and feel free to point them out :)

Also, Don't own Anyting...

At the end of the day, all he does is watch the others as they all walk out the door, and start talking about plans for the evening. Sometimes he walks with them, sharing his own plans, making that one last joke about Kensi's diary or something else, and they will all be laughing.

But not today. Today he watched as they walk silent, but happy out the door. It's been a long day, and there's something inside him that falls together when he watched them. They all look happy. Even Eric with his flip-flops and strange shorts is smiling. Today they saved a life. An innocent life, more or less, and they are happy. And that's all he could ask for.

Deeks tries his best to make them as happy as he can, but even he knows that sometimes life just gets in the way. Sometimes they're too late, not often, but sometimes. It's those days he tries extra hard to make them smile.

Sam and Callen is no challenge anymore. As long as he gives them something, even the tiniest bit, to tease him about, they fell into their own routine, and even though the bad isn't gone, they will feel better. There are sometimes he wonders if Callen could even be truly happy, especially when he first started to work with them. But as they grew closer he realized that Callen, in many ways, was the one who found the most joy out of the smallest things, except from Deeks. He didn't always show it, but Deeks could see it in the way he walked at the end of the day, that he was happy.

And somehow Eric and Nell are two of those creatures that are born happy and careless. That isn't entirely true, but they manage to make each other happy. He has no idea how they do it, but somehow they have found something in each other to make them going on. Something only those two shares, and despite the fact that Deeks is curious about how they do it, he leaves it alone. Knows that if he asks, it will be broken, and that's the last thing he wants to happen. He wants them to be happy.

Kensi on the other hand is the hardest one. He tries so hard to really make her happy, make her smile, make her enjoy life the way he does. He tries, but sometimes he just knew there's nothing he can do. Sometimes, when she leaves them and digs herself down in all those things he wishes he could bear for her, he has no idea how to connect with her. But he acts like nothing special, just trying to support her, and letting her know he will be there for her. 'Cause really, what else can he do? They all got their own demons, he should know, and as far as he knows, the only one who is able to pull Kensi up from her own personal hell, is Hetty. And seriously, seeing as Hetty does things he think is, not only unbelievable, but also unthinkable, he leaves that to her. For now.

But one day, he hopes he will be able to be the one to pull Kensi up, and make her, force her to see that life goes on. That sometimes, despite all the horror they see, life is, if you will, wonderful.

And if he manages that, to make them all happy, first then will he be happy.
