The feelings inside of him did not develop quickly. He was generally surprised when they were 13 and she was the prettiest girl he'd ever laid his eyes upon. Finn was not one to rush into things, but he felt something deep inside of him spark. He silently admired her from afar.

That was 4 years ago, and the feelings she had ignited in him had not vanished. Over the years, in the glances they shared, the feelings seemed to grow. She was all he wanted, but not someone he could have.

He knew how Wells had felt about her, knew he was nothing compared to the chancellor's son. He could never give her things that the other boy could. He faded into the background, never acting upon his feelings.

But here on earth, everything had changed. He was on an even playing field with the chancellor's son. If anything, his short experience with Raven gave him the upper hand. Sure, they'd never done anything more than share a few chaste kisses, but that was more experience than Wells had.

This was a whole new playing field, and Finn decided he was going to win. Wells and Bellamy could sod off, as well as anyone else who tried to ruin this.

Finn would give himself to her, and hopefully she would accept him.
