A humour fic I wrote a while ago but never got around to posting. I hope you enjoy!

At Twelve O Clock in the afternoon, it was already a very good day for Remus Lupin.

He had walked through the front door of Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place, Polyjuice Potion wearing off, having obtained the information he needed about two rumored Death Eaters. Apparently Sirius Black had noticed the extra spring in his friend's step after his excursion to the ministry, for he Accio-ed some Firewhiskey for themselves and the rest of the residents. (There was Butterbeer for the youngsters, of course.)

Perhaps a certain young witch known as Tonks had had one drink too many, however, for she later approached Remus and preceded to snog the daylights out of him. This being just a tad out of character for the woman, he was, not surprisingly, a little bamboozled. Not that he objected to it- in fact, he rather enjoyed it- Remus was slightly concerned for Tonks' health, both mentally and physically, seeing as she was already very clumsy while sober.

Sure enough, the Metamorphmagus managed to bump into, trip over, and knock down several items within an hour, some being a roll of spellotape that attached to her shoe and trailed behind her; a Remembrall (whoever could it belong to?) ; and a very suspicious seeming Muggle magazine of scantily clad teenage girls in bikinis. (Fred and George 'fessed up later.)

The racket woke up Mrs. Black, who began to shout, rather exhaustedly, about what sounded like "manticores walking on stilts". She was apparently very tired of her "duty" to scream at everybody- ignore the fact that everyone would be better off without it, and that she didn't actually have to piss everyone off to no end- because she was more compliant than usual. Quickly, she faded out, then grumbled "every bloody day" and slinked back into her frame.

That aside, Remus dragged Tonks into an empty bedroom, where she proved to not be as drunk as he thought she was. For one, she actually had a clue of who she was, where she was, and what she was doing. For another, she seemed to recall all of the day's events, including her kisses to Remus (which they had both enjoyed very much, but did not bother to admit because, frankly, there wasn't much talking involved.)

Despite the obvious abnormalities, it had been a very good day- much of an adventure- for Remus Lupin.
