Keeping
An indirect Mimoe (you'll understand after)
PG-14
Summary: Sometimes, love and war can be fair.
I accept requests, but only if their not yoai
The waves, like demons, crash mercilessly against the granite cliffs. Thrashing and clawing
with ragged torn fingers untill wasted, they bleed back into the ocean. Leaving their liquid
upon the rocky, emotionless ridge.
High above, two quiet men leaned against a balcony, wary of the tides methodic sacrifice
below them. A tall, darkly handsome man, arms outstretched, fingers curled around the
fridgid railing stared, with burning intensity, at the sea. The fading moonlight cast
skeletal shadows over the stony plains of his face. Turning his azure hair to polished, navy
marble and melting around his tension filled body like ice. His eyes glittered like sapphire
frost, equally cold, equally chilling, just as beautiful.
Beside him, another man, arms crossed over the iron bar, looked skyward, the paling stars
turning sandy hair to desert silk, and pastel, periwinkle eyes to a ravens sunlit forest. He
glanced at his tortured companion. His pain evident in every empty movement, conveyed with
tense precesion on the rail. The lonley heart spoke first, angrily, lifting his face to the
harsh wind and the horizon. "Do you love her?" The blonde bit his lip, turning his hurt, powder
blue gaze to his friend. "Yes."
"He nodded, and the light one moved keen, comprehensive eyes to the dark ones clenched fists
"Do you?" the muscles flexed.. "With all my heart" His choked reply was lost in the wind. But
not captured so quickly as not to be heard.
They silently watched the sun spill over the water.
I know, I know, it's woefully short. But, it gets the point across.
Both Joe (The dark one) and Matt (The light one) are in love with Mimi. But Matt is willing
to let her go to Joe because Joe's love is more deep and deperate.
I might write a part 2, with Mimi and Sora discussing her feeling. If I get enough reviews,
I will.
