Seething, I pin him down against the floor.
Looking down upon the mech that I abhor,
My optics blaze with a fiery rage.
Will my SIC never change?
Will he not abandon his old ways?
He never ceases to amaze;
So there is a chance that one day soon,
Before I take him to the gates of doom,
For returning with empty hands
Against my wishes and commands,
That he will learn how to respect.
Although, it may be a little too far fetched, as I reflect.
After all, old habits do die hard.

And yet, as I gaze on that wretched face,
On that smugness I am trying to erase,
I realise that it is far too late
To bring one back from such a fate
Of madness and insanity.

He notices my analysing glare,
And returns it with a challenging stare
"Oh, My Lord, can't you see?
I do not need thee."
He said this with a smirk and a twinkle in his eye.
Before I could scold him for the obvious lie,
He swung his clawed servo, capturing my chin,
Which made me reel back, crashing with a din.
"Come here you vile creature, you pitiful scum,
Can't you see that I wasn't done!"
I roared at him, as he tried to escape.

He didn't answer or stop at first,
But as I lunged for him headfirst,
He spun around and faced me
With a smile filled with glee.
Those wicked claws were curled around
Something that he must have found
Whilst completing his assignment.

"Starscream, what is that thing?
"This little plaything? Don't you recall
The mission that you sent me on
Earlier this orn?"
His optics shone as bright as the sun
For he believed that he was done
With his business here.

And he was right.

As I saw him jump into the sky,
A moment couldn't have gone by,
Before his parting gift
Engulfed the room, and everything within it.

"You won't get away with this Starscream!"
I bellowed at him.
"Indeed, I already have"
He hollered back.
