Cry, Laugh.
A cry. A cry and Sakura tries to be there as soon as possible.
Leaving her unfinished book, Sakura stands up the couch and goes to her little daughter's room.
The room is baby pink with baby blue clouds painted on the wall. A crib is in the middle of the room with a rocking chair by its side. There's a large window where the light filters through and next to it a large box with a lot of plushies for the little baby born a few weeks ago. A red carpet warms the feet of those who step in it and finally there is a small drawer with clothes and essentials for the kid.
Her daughter, Sarada, is crying for some unknown reason and she is by her side in a moment. Entering the room, she goes to the crib and Sakura sees her kicking her little arms and legs and crying like there was no tomorrow.
Softly, she lifted her and put Sarada against her chest so the little head could rest in her mama's shoulder.
''Shh, Sarada…calm, baby, calm…'' She hushed words in her daughter's ear to try to calm her. ''Please baby, stop crying.''
But Sarada only seemed to cry harder, not even Sakura's word could calm her.
''Papa will be here tonight, shh…if you cry papa will be sad.'' Hearing those words, although Sarada didn't understand them, seemed to calm her a little bit but fat tears still streamed down her face, making her cheeks red and her eyes puffy.
Five minutes later, that were like an hour for Sakura, she heard the main door of the house being opened. Sarada, crying softly, was calm in an instant. Alarmed and a little bit scared, Sakura gripped Sarada more tightly against her chest supporting her back and head. Carefully, Sakura walked down the stairs.
''Tadaima.'' Sasuke said sounding a little bit tired.
Sakura widened her eyes in surprise and ran to the door to meet him. She gave him a hug how she could trying not to crush Sarada.
''Okaeri, Sasuke-kun. I-I thought you would be here tonight.'' Sarada let out a strange noise in between them. Sarada turned her around so her papa could see her. The two of them looked down at her.
''Work was finished a little bit earlier today.'' He said looking to his daughter and caressing her dark tuff of hair. ''How's my little baby girl?'' Sarada in response lifter her hand and tried to touch Sasuke's one.
''She seems happy now.'' Sakura let out a sigh relieved.
''How comes so?'' Sasuke asked.
''She was crying a lot just a while ago.''
''Really? She looks fine to me.'' Sasuke picked up Sarada from her mother grasp and the three of them went to the living room to sit in the couch. Sarada was playing with the buttons of Sasuke's shirt and trying to catch his finger who were dancing in front of her face just to tease.
''I was so worried…I thought something was happening to her!'' Sakura said, resting her head in Sasuke's shoulder and looking down at Sarada in her papa's arms.
''That's not good Sarada…'' At hearing her name, she looked to her parents and she let out a little giggle and with her little hands tried to reach their faces. ''You scared mama.''
But she only giggled again. Too innocent to understand what was being said . Too pure that she spread her happiness to her parents.
And the three of them laughed.
The End.
Author's Note: They might be a little bit OoC but really, I can't write a serious Sasuke with a baby, furthermore if that baby is his daughter. Sorry if I had some grammar/vocabulary mistakes: You can review them and I will try to change them and improve for another story (if there is one). Thank you! Xx.
