Author note: This is for Five-0 labor day weekend! I do have a fanfic for both Danny and Steve for their birthdays but I haven't had that much to write it. I am hoping to have them finished and up by Friday at the latest. Until then Enjoy this fanfiction. Don't forget to tune in September 27th for the season premiere.
Steve's POV
Why should we not have a group experience by hiking up the diamond head? I just hope that they will all agree to do it. I don't think that Danny will do it since Gabby is back in town and I don't think that Chin will do it since he's in a new relationship. That just leaves Kono. She just came back into town not that long ago since we arrested all of Adam's enemies and the best news ever is that they broke up too. Now it's time for me and her to grow closer together and maybe start a relationship!
I dialed Kono's number to find it going straight to her.
"Hey." I greeted her.
"Hey, boss. What's going on?" Kono asked me. I hate it when she calls me boss. "Do we have a case?"
"Nothing going on and we don't have a case. I wanted to see if you want to go hiking up Diamond Head today." I responded to her.
"yeah that's sounds fun. Give me about twenty minutes and I will meet you up there." She responded back to me. We hang up and I get the backpack pack with waters and snacks. I head to my truck and get in it to head there. It takes me about twenty minutes just to get there. Traffic was a nightmare. I pulled into find Kono already sitting there.
"Sorry I am late. Traffic was a nightmare." I revealed to her.
"It's okay boss. I just got here." She said to me. Again with calling me boss.
"Kono, today I am not your boss. Today I am your friend." I responded back to her.
"Alright Steve. Let's climb this thing." She said as we started to go up to Diamond head. It's beatuiful climbing all the way up there. We stayed up there for about three hours before coming back down to a fresh start or we think!

I am just a fan of the show so i don't write for them and if i did then i would write for Steve and Kono. This storyline might be the start of a new storyline.
