Come on we've got no time to lose. We have to see the deku tree." So then Link went with Navi. On the way Link said hi to Sara his friend. Then they ran into Mido, the bully of the kokiri, the children of the forest. "Where do you think your going? If you think you're going to see the great deku tree I'm not letting you through not with out a sword and shield. So Link went and found the kokiri sword in a treasure chest and found enough rupees to buy a deku shield made from the bark from the deku tree. Then Mido had no choice to let them through. The great deku tree to Link was gigantic. The great deku tree asked Link to help him by destroying the curse set on him. He had Link go into the inside of him. Inside of the deku tree Link found the fairy sling shot. Link took care of deku scrubs and learned from one of the deku scrubs that the boss' vulnerable spot was its eye. Link used this info to defeat gohma the boss. Link and Navi emerged victorious. The graet deku tree thanked them and gave them the kokiri emerald then sadly died. Link and navi then set foot to hyrule to speak with princess zelda.
