This idea has been brewing for some time now, so here it is. This bit is actually more of an introduction and explanation. It's written from Tommy Oliver's point of view, just after the Dino Thunder series.

Introducing the Technicolor Ranger
Jason was the one who started teasing me years ago about being the Technicolor Ranger, and it stuck⦠that was why I started using it as an alias sometimes. It was the Dino Thunder teens who unknowingly revived the old name when they started calling me Captain Technicolor, having decided I was in some way related to Captain Planet, despite my protests that such a connection could more likely be found in Cole, or one of the Wild Force Rangers.
Haley thought this was hilarious, and immediately started writing to Billy and Cam about morphing powers, then spent her free time for the next few months building me a new morpher, somehow drawing on all of my powers, and the result was a highly modified Ranger. It's based loosely on the Black Dino Thunder suit, and the patterns are now black instead of gold, while the suit itself is red. It has the helmet of the first Green Ranger, but it's now red in color with a green gem and eyes, and the belt has the old dragon coin emblem. The belt itself is deep green, as is the lining that shows at the neck. The gloves and boots are the ones from the first White Ranger uniform, and over all this is the first Green Ranger's shield. It doesn't look half bad, actually.
The morpher is a replica of my old Dragon Power coin, and much to my chagrin, Hayley set the morphing password. Instead of 'Dragonzord' I now have to say 'Technicolor', but I'll grudgingly admit the result is worth it. With the combined powers of five Rangers, two of them red and three of them 'special', and several old and new weapons, the Technicolor power is almost certainly the most powerful out there.
I just hope Hayley never gets her hands on the Dragonzord, because I'm sure she'd try to paint him red, and I don't think he'd like that.

I don't normally write in first person, but I enjoyed doing this. It will be the basis for one or more stories on the adventures of the Technicolor Ranger.
Ideas are welcome, and if anyone else wants to join in, feel free to do your own thing with the idea, I'd love to see what happens.
