A Pinkie Pie Birthday

A short little birthday poem I wrote (but attributed to Pinkie Pie's words and Spike's handwriting, of course) for my sister Catherine's 5th birthday. This poem is actually a song that can be sung to the "Happy, Happy Birthday" tune Pinkie Pie sings in the episode when the Cake Twins were born. Enjoy, Bronies and Pegasisters!

A Pinkie Pie Birthday

Hey there, little Pinkie,

Today you're number ONE!

You've grown too old for binkies,

But not too old for FUN!

Every year, a special DAY

Is made for you alone.

This year, I came to PLAY

Inside your own home!

And so, I came from Ponyville,

And brought you special THINGS!

And to party with you until

Your heart and mind can SING!

And let's not forget about

The most important part...

CAKE, CAKE, ALL THE CAKE!

THAT SCRUMPTIOUS, YUMMY ART!

But once the cake is gone away...(soft sob)...

And the presents all been shared...

I'll play with you all the DAY,

And with the ones who care!

So as you turn another year

From three to four to five.

Remember to give a CHEER,

For all those in your life!

I hope you have a great day,

Cause you're already five!
