Author's Note: Yay! I'm home (for a little while) and writing again! This is another songfic oneshot. The song is Sad Story by Plain White T's. You will be seeing more Skate oneshots (yes, Sassy…SKATE. Just for you.) in the future. All of the Skate oneshots will use songs by Plain White T's. Anyways, I don't own LOST or Sad Story
Got nothing to say anymore. There's nothing new; it's all been done before. Not looking to settle the score. So please let me be.
"Dammit kid, leave me the hell alone!" Sawyer exclaimed, shutting the door in a girl scout's face. He groaned and headed back into the kitchen. Sawyer sat at the island and grabbed the beer that was sitting on the counter. Taking a swig from the bottle, he stared blankly at the wall. The pale blue wall stared back at him challenging Sawyer.
The con-man lost the battle as memories of Kate flooded his mind. When they had lived together Kate had insisted of being in charge of decorating. Sawyer gave in. He remembered the day when she painted. She wore old shorts and an old shirt that were two sizes too small for her. Sawyer remembered walking into the kitchen just to look at her.
Sawyer shook his head getting rid of her from his mind. He couldn't think of her. Not since she dumped him.
Thought I'd be the one you'd adore. I always thought I would be so much more. Want something that I can't afford.
He thought Kate love him and adored him. Sawyer thought that he could provide more than enough for Kate. The con-man took another swig of his beer and looked away from the wall. In his heart Sawyer knew Kate needed someone better and he couldn't afford her anyway.
This is the end of a really sad story. But don't feel bad for me. I started out alone and in the end that's where I'll be.
Sawyer knew he would be alone forever. His mother and father left him and he was going to die alone. He knew his life was like a sad story but he didn't care. That's how it had to be. Sawyer finished off his beer and sighed.
Now I'm all alone in this war.
Sawyer knew he was alone in his war of life and death with his drinking problems, but no one could help him. He had to do it alone. No matter what, he would die alone. It truly was a sad story.
