So Cake It's Not

It was freezing outside, as it was the middle of December. Raven was sitting inside curled up under three blankets and a sleeping bag in a thermal, a T-shirt, and a sweater. She was also wearing fuzzy socks on her feet, yet she was still freezing. Cyborg had decided that today, the coldest day in history, was the best day to test his new generator system. Curling up even tighter she mentally cursed Cy for killing the breakers, as well as whoever was in charge of the three below weather outside the tower. Luckily the tower had retained some of the heat but it was slowly but surely vanishing through the walls. With a swish the common room doors opened and Beast boy walked in, barely visible with the few battery operated lights located around the room.

"I brought you something to warm you up." He said holding up a large box. He attempted to jump over the couch, but unfortunately he missed the seat part and hit the floor. With a shocked gasp he watched in slow motion as a piece of the pie, which had been safely secured in the box, flew out and nailed Raven smack dab in the middle of her forehead.

"Raven I'm sooooo so sorry. I swear it was an accident." "Of course it was an accident as is this." She stated with an evil glare as some of the remaining pie flew out and splattered on Beastboy's face. And so it began…

Five Minutes Later

Raven and Beastboy surveyed the damage to the commons room in awe. "We are screwed my dear friend, it hasth been swell." Beastboy said with a terrifyingly serious tone as the voice of Robin drew nearer to the room. "I cant believe I just did that." " I know Rae you should have seen yourself." "No I mean I hate pie." Beastboy and her just looked at eachother and chuckled. Robin opened the door and all laughter ceased. "What is this!" He yelled looking between the two, "you better clean this up right now." "Yes sir tightwad." Raven said mock saluting. "Come on BB lets get this cleaned up." "Aye aye."

A half-hour and a spotless, electricity lit common room later, Beastboy and Raven collapsed onto the couch exhausted. "We should do that again sometime," BB said sounding totally serious. Raven could do nothing but look at him and roll her eyes. "I hate pie." "Speaking of pie Rae, you missed a spot." "I did, where?" "Right there." Beastboy said before leaning forward and kissing her on the lips. Raven just sat there shocked as he left the room. Then she chuckled to herself not being able to help but think, 'Okay so cake its not, but I guess pie isn't so bad.'
