Disclaimer! All the characters other than Mario belong to Team Ari and Marios-Friend 9. I really wanted to write a fanfic based around Mario The Music Box Arc. This story is based on Continuous Ending 3, my favorite ending. I hope you enjoy!

A clear stream of water began to flow harshly onto the shoreline. The sounds of the ocean water were calming, and could make you drift away into a peaceful sleep within seconds. A cool wind blew across the beach, making the trees sway back and forth, creating another pleasurable sound. Riba stood staring into the water, his dirty blonde hair was flowing in the breeze. His face was void of any emotion, but his eyes were glazed with pain and grief.

It had been almost a month since Mario had passed on, leaving Riba alone. As the days passed by, one by one, Riba felt the hard rock in his stomach tighten with guilt and pain. Every night the only thing that would calm his endless regret was too cry until he fell asleep from exhaustion. His only comfort was the sandy shores. Riba went to the beach close to the farm every evening at the time wind blew the strongest. As the gusts of wind swirled around him, he felt as if Mario was standing right beside him. This moment of true bliss was so comforting, Riba came to the sandy shores every day to be with Mario again.

Riba closed his eyes, letting wonderful memories flow into his mind. He stepped closer to the ocean so the water could spray his face. The happiness came to a sudden halt. Riba felt his blood run cold.

He's gone forever, Riba thought, tears began to run down his face, there all gone, and I can't be with them ever again.

A loud wail rang across the beach, making the seagulls fly away into the distance. Riba fell to his knees, sobbing into his hands.

"I'm a monster!" Riba wailed, "I'm never going to be happy so why even bother!"

Riba turned around and began to run back to the farm when a gust of unusually warm wind swirled around him causing him to freeze. In front of him a familiar face with icy blue eyes stared back at him, tears in his eyes.

Riba felt the air get caught in his throat, "Mario?"

His heart lurched with happiness. Riba ran towards him embracing his old friend with a warm hug, But Mario was cold as ice. When Riba backed away Mario stood still not saying a word as the wind whirled around him. There was a desperate longing in his eyes. The man Riba once knew was now transparent with a starry blue hue glowing all over his body.

After what seemed like an eternity of staring into each others eyes Mario spoke, "Riba. I'm so happy to see you!"

"Mario! I'm so sorry for everything I've ever done to you," Riba stumbled over his words as tears streamed down his cheeks "I'm so happy to see you!"

"I just wanted to let you know I'm okay." Mario said as his eyes became filled with tears.

Riba stood still trying to think of the words to say. He burst into tears before figuring out what to say. Mario walked towards him smiling from ear to ear. He grabbed Riba tight rubbing his chin into his blond hair.

"I know you don't know what to say, but that's okay," Mario whispered " Elizabeth wanted me to tell you that she, Serina, and Anna are happy and safe, as am I."

"Eliz...abeth?" Riba stammered, "My daughters."

"I can't stay any longer. I have to go home." Mario breathed.

Riba broke away from the embrace, his eyes filled with tears and saddened.

He can't leave me for a second time, Riba thought, He can't!

"No! Please don't leave me again! I'll do anything, just please stay!" Riba said Though tears.

It was to late. Mario had vanished.

"I didn't get to tell you how much you mean to me." Riba breathed.

They're okay. They're all okay. Everyone I've ever loved. They're... happy. Mario is happy again.
