ThunderClan's Gift

A young ThunderClan kit named Applekit has a special power given by StarClan. He can tell the future. Firestar, his former leader, visits him in a dream and tells him that he is one of the five cats who have powers. Applekit sets off to find the other four by visiting other Clans, sometimes taking risks.

Prologue

Rain drizzled on the grieving cats. Sandstorm didn't care about the total downpour. She had lost Firestar! She felt that the rain was nothing compared to the blood shed on the night of her life. Many cats were lost because of the Dark Forest, Tigerstar and Brokenstar. She winced at the thought of the still, lifeless body of her precious Clanmate. Many of her Clanmates had returned to their dens, but Sandstorm, Cloudtail, Leafpool, Squirrelflight and Bramblestar stayed vigil for him. It was a dreadful night, Leafpool remembered. Suddenly, a meow came from behind her. "Can you help sort these herbs out, for StarClan's sake?"
Leafpool smiled the slightest bit. "Sure, Jayfeather, if you fix up that horrible mood!" Leafpool replied teasingly.
