Chapter one
Aboard the Hogwarts Express
James and Albus Potter the sons of the famous Harry Potter had just sat down on the gleaming Hogwarts Express the atmosphere was thrilling filled with excitement and goodbyes as other young wizards and witches waved farewell to their parents. James who was entering his 2nd year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry his younger brother was about to start his first year at Hogwarts before he got on the train he had spoken to his father telling him how scared he was about the sorting in case he was placed in Slytherin his father had told him he would of had nothing to be ashamed of because of who harry had known while he was at Hogwarts himself. His brother had been placed in Gryffindor. All summer he had been teasing Albus about this saying that he was going to be placed in Slytherin and bring shame to his family that they would get rid of him. The train had finally set of they gave one last goodbye to their family's and stopped waving the moment they were out of sight.
Moments after they had left kings cross station the door to their compartment opened and Rose Weasley (the eldest daughter of Ron and Hermione Weasley) came in already wearing her brand new school robes. It was also her first year at Hogwarts like Albus she too was scared about what house she was to be put in. She sat down next to Albus with a smile on her face.
"Hello Albus" said Rose with a smile still on her face "isn't this exciting our first year at Hogwarts I do hope I am not placed in Slytherin my dad said he would disown me if am" she laughed as she said this. To Albus not only was Rose his cousin but also his best friend Rose also treated Albus like a best friend as well as a cousin.
"I heard my father said i shouldn't he ashamed even if I was placed in Slytherin because the bravest man he knew was in Slytherin" said Albus who also had a smile on his face. James was sat there looking through his collection of cards he had been collecting from the chocolate frogs Albus watched him and decided to show Rose his collection of cards to and compare them against her collection. Both of them had the same amount of cards but there were 3 cards that they were both after a card with Harry Potter on it and both of Rose's parents had their own cards. Both of them had brought some chocolate frogs of the trolley that always came round selling treats such as bertie bott's every flavour beans James had brought a box of those and was examining each bean carefully to make sure it was not some disgusting flavour. Albus and Rose were now tearing open each of the chocolate frogs that they had brought not caring in the slightest about the frogs that were now jumping out of the window.
"YES" they both shouted at the same time. They had got their parents card each picture waved at them with smiles on their face. As they were getting closer to the castle James and Albus went to get changed in to their robes and get their luggage ready. "I can see the castle" cried Rose, Albus looked out of the window and saw the magnificence castle Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
