This just a short fanfic featuring Nina and Raj. I felt inspired to do this after reading a few of is a first person point of view from Raj. Enjoy!
Here I stand as I walk alone without my two best friends. Both have been struck from Cupids arrow of love. Laszlo finally got Patsy's clues of her liking him and gladly took it. As for Clam, he too was in love with Gretchen. Its just me now. Alone, single, and just me sitting by the docks of Leaky Lake. It was too quiet, it was nighttime when the moon was shining at its fullest. The stars filled the night sky with wonder awe.
A figure then came up to me from behind. I took a look from behind. It was Nina. She smiled and giggled as she asked to sit by me. I accepted the offer. The full moon made her look like a sort of goddess. Her glasses reflected by the moonlight, her red hair was glowing. When I thought I would never think this, but she's beautiful. My heart started fluttering and my stomach was in knots. I never felt this way around her. So why now? Time passed by when she had to leave. We said our goodbyes and left.
Time passed by. I could never stop thinking about her. She always seemed to be in my mind, no matter how hard I tried to forget. I found myself sitting on a log next to the woods. Alone as usual. With my thoughts about Nina. Was I in love with her? Is that why I feel so nervous around her? Not long, I heard sobbing. It sounded like a girl. It sounded very close, but distant enough to listen to wear I came from. I walked into to the woods only to find a certain..giraffe. Nina. I walked up to her, sat next to her, "Nina, what's wrong, I can't stand to hear you like this." I said in a sad tone. She looked up, Oh, Raj, Patsy and Gretchen have decided to leave camp and not return, they want a life with Clam and Lazlo." She said still crying. Oh, they did mention this yesterday. I'll miss them. But life goes on. I hugged her. She hugged me tightly.
That night I went to my cabin. Empty now. I tried to sleep, but couldn't. Something Inside made me get up and walk around. I gave in and did so. I walked outside and took a walk around. I walked up to a cliff. But to my surprise, Nina was there. I didn't want to ask her why she was there. So I sat next to her. I made a move and held her hand in mine. She held it tight. She put her head on my shoulder and we just looked at the night sky. It was the perfect time.
"Nina?" I asked. "Yes Raj?" She asked. "Ever since Lazlo and Clam were together, I've had thoughts and feelings for a special girl. I think I love her." Nina felt sad, assuming that he meant someone else. She got up with tears in her eyes and started to leave. I grabbed her hand. "Wait." I said. "This girl is so perfect in every way. She's so beautiful and very interesting, she's smart and I want to spend the rest of the summer with her. Nina, that girl is you. I love you." Nina blushed and smiled. I stood up and made my move. I took both my hands. One behind her back and the other behind her neck as I pulled her in. Soon our lips touched. It was a long kiss that was memerable. As solo. As we parted. she hugged me. "I love you, Raj." She said with a smile. I took her hand and we walked back to camp, not as friends, but lovers.
