AN: Short drabble describing Yuma and Rio's first date. It's set after the last episode, so Yuma knows that Rio used to be/is a Barian but he doesn't care. And yes, Ryouga has somehow approved all of this! Shocker, isn't it?
Warnings: I don't really hate them anymore, but this will contain jealous Kotori and Kathy trying to ruin things. DLDR.
Dating a ... what!?
"Kathy, I don't really think that this is a good idea..." Kotori spoke quietly as a lot of cats gathered around them. "You might scare Rio-san for real..."
"Isn't that the point? She stole our Yuma!" Kathy hissed as the cats began to move, towards Yuma and Rio, who were sharing a smoothie at a nearby table, smiling and chatting with each other happily.
"Yes, but..." Kotori broke off when she heard a scream. When she looked, she was shocked to see that several of the cats had jumped Rio, causing her to spill the smoothie onto her dress. Yuma, who had stood up, screamed in terror.
"Oh no! Shark is going to kill me now! I'm dating a ... a..."
"A what, pray tell?" the soaked ice princess growled, glaring daggers at the cats which began to run back to Kathy, who patted them as a job well done. Kotori just sweatdropped as she focused to hear Yuma's answer.
"... a smoothie."
Sheer, cold silence followed the end of his statement.
All in all, Mizuki Kotori wondered how Yuma had survived Rio's wrath there...
... not that he would survive Shark's when he hears about his sister's 'accident'.
