From a Nightmare to Love
Hello everybody! I'm new here and this is my first fanfiction. I hope it's not too bad. I would be happy if I get some suggestions how to improve my writing skills ^^ Just to mention English isn't my native language but I love it :) Please enjoy ;D
It's a really rainy and stormy night in Magnolia. Lucy Heartfilia is trying to sleep in her apartment. She is in her confortable and warm bed but she can't fall asleep so she decided to drink some hot milk. As she drinks it she remembers her childhood.
"Mama would have always brounght me hot milk when I couldn't sleep...I miss her very much." thought the young celestial mage. She puts down her mug and goes back to sleep. "Yeah, hot milk always works" said Lucy sleepily.
Then she finnaly can sleep...for 2 hours. It's 1 a.m when Lucy wakes up with a scared face, her heart beats fast, and she is too scared to even move. Then she realises that somebody is in her bed. She is so scared that she falls off her bed, arriving on the floor with a big thumb. The unknown person in the bed - who is obviously Natsu - creeps to the source of the noise still in half asleep to find a frightened blondy on the floor curled up.
"Lucy...whatcha doing on the floor?" said the pink haired mage sleepily while rubbing his eye.
"N-N-Natsu?" said Lucy a bit relieved.
"Hm? What's wrong Luce?" asked Natsu now fully awake. He hopped off the bed to find a scared Lucy almost crying. Natsu realising the situation, sits next to Lucy and hugs her tightly trying to confort her.
"Did I scare you?" asked the worried mage.
"Mm no. I just...had a nightmare" Lucy slowly calms down in Natsu's warm arms and she feels much better now. She never thought that her team mate can be this caring too. In fact she likes it very much. She wants to stay like this till morning.
Until now she didn't know why does she feel herself so differently with Natsu than anybody else from the guild. So much happier, so much... in love. Yes, Lucy realises that she loves this silly friend of her while hugging back him.
"Ne, Natsu. Would you sleep with me just for tonight, please?" asked the blonde mage with a blush on her face. "Eh? Sure,Lucy." said Natsu a little shocked but still grinning with his usual wide smile on his face, which Lucy loves so much.
That night Lucy Heartfilia could sleep really well in the arms of the boy she loved. This was the first night that Lucy let Natsu sleep in her bed and probably not the last.
