Prelude
Authors note: ok this is gonna be my first published story so please bear with me. :3 And all flames will be used to heat the furnace and roast marshmallows. Contsrtuctive critism is welcomed.
Warning: This story does have its darker moments (like the prelude) so if you don't like that sort of thing then dont read it.
I don't own Zelda, if i did itd be filled with a bunch of awesome yoai and other things.
Zelda stared in shock as Ganondorf's sword sliced through Link's body, tearing and ripping the flesh and muscle effortlessly. The Hero of Time gasped in pain and fell forward, clutching his chest. "Zelda... Run..." Were the last words he said as his breathing slowed and his heart came to a stop. The Evil King had won... The Hero of Time is dead.
~Hyrule feild~
Zelda was running as fast as her legs could carry her away from the castle, fearful that Ganondorf would be coming after her. A fact that made her terrified to look back. She couldn't believe Hyrule's only hope was dead. The tears welling in her eyes blinded her as she ran towards the safety of the Kokiri forest. Ganondorf's horrible, echoing laugh could be heard coming from somewhere behind her but she didn't dare turn to look.
She had made it just inside the treeline when she was blinded by a bright flash of light. Zelda gasped and covered her eyes with her arm, taking a slight step back. Her whole body trembled, terrified that the Demon King had some how caught up with her. And that worry stayed until she felt a soothing carress on her her cheek, the motherly gesture calming and relaxing her.
"Worry not princess. We shall find the reincernation of the Hero in the future and bring them back here. Hyrule shall not fall so easily into the hands of Evil." A kind, wise and caring voice said, filling her mind and calming the princess even more. "Nayru..." She whispered, a small smile gracing her features. "Untill then, time shall reset itself and only you shall have memories of all that has happened here.
With that said, the warmth of the Goddess dissapeared, and every thing went black...
