Arceus' Chosen-The Beginning
The Eevee was lost. It had been a long day in the human markets, and the Eevee had forgotten the way to her den. After a while, she sat down and cried, for she was young still, and tired. Suddenly, the moon shone down on the Eevee and Arceus, the God of Pokemon, appeared before her. He spoke to her about many things, and her head was dancing with the stories he had told her and the knowledge she had gained in those hours. After he had finished, Arceus led the Eevee back to her den and vanished like smoke in the breeze. She had become the first of Arceus' Chosen, and was burdened with the knowledge of a great evil that would come to be.
Later the first of the Chosen learned of the plight foretold by Arceus had finally come, and had overtaken the fair lands of Sinnoh and Hoenn. She began a search that would take her in places that before she would not have dared to go. She searched amongst rocky mountain paths, dark tunnels hewed millenia before by the ancestors of Pokemon, and through forests and bright valleys. She found the second Chosen as an Egg, tumbled from the Voids of Wish, Creation and Time, in the rocky nest of a Steelix deep inside the Iron Mountain. The Eevee carried the Egg from the nest and one fair day, she came to the Lost Tower, where the dead are buried, and the Egg hatched. The second Chosen was a Riolu, serious and calm in nature. After hatching, the Eevee talked to him and told him of what they had to do. He understood, hatchling though he was.
He and the Eevee travelled on, sometimes the Riolu even carrying Eevee on his back, as the first Chosen was, at birth, the runt of the litter. They travelled through Sinnoh, and stopped at a plantation of berry trees to rest and fill their stomachs with the delicious berries, when they found the third Chosen. She prowled out of the long grasses, her coat shining in the moon's pale light, and sat down with them to feast on the abundant fat fruits, growing in rows and rows. At dawn, the Humans came to check the trees, so the three, the Eevee, the Riolu, the Luxio, moved on. They came to the Marshes, that held life in its damp, brown paddocks like a vast mud sea, finding and freeing the fourth Chosen, a wild Staravia held in the clutches of a ravenous Gyarados, about to be devoured. She flew them across the continent, until they finally landed in the Lightning City, an Electric Pokemon's dream and a Flying Pokemon's nightmare, for the City had many electric devices, most of which would kill a bird if they were not careful. And so the Staravia was cautious in all she did here at the Lightning City, and would often go up to the Light Beam Tower, looking out at the huge building beyond, which she had heard of in her travels(she was passing by the Great Marsh City when she was caught), called the Pokemon League...
Chapter One Ends Here
Author's Note: The start of this popped into my head while I was drawing on Bulbagarden Oekaki. I thought it would be a good idea to give it a story, as I was drawing a Venomoth reading at Canalave Library... And then I've now started a storyboard on it :D
