A Spider's Web

Annette was standing on top of the hill her house laid on, her light purple hair blowing in the wind. She looked back at her house, it had two floors and smoke was coming out of the chimney. She sighed then picked up her staff and began to walk down the hill, she was heading towards the nearby village, she was going to attempt to trade with the villagers again. They didn't like witches at all… which Annett understood why, because she's heard the reason multiple times. "Witches are bad and can never be good." That's what they all said. She was so tired of it; it made her think less herself. She entered the village. But everything felt different; it felt more unwelcoming than it usually did, also there was blood on the ground, weapons laying around, and a magical aura, but not a good one. Annette wandered around the village. Until she got to the center of it, there was a Witch's hat on the ground. She looked at it then picked it up, when she did she heard a Witch's laughter and then she blacked out.
