-1Zelda got up, rubbed her eyes, and let out a yawn. She let the warm covers slip off and fall onto the floor. Then, she swiped her hand against her forehead and felt perspiration. Zelda swung her legs over the bed and placed her feet on the floor. It was hot.
She quickly ran over to her bedroom door and saw a reddish glow underneath it, and the door was as hot as a grill. She could feel intense heat wafting from the door, and then she realized: Hyrule Castle was on fire.
Zelda ran over to her bathroom and did only what she could think to do. She turned on the coldest water, stripped herself from her night gown, grabbed a towel, and covered herself with as much water as she could until she was completely wet. She wrapped the soaking wet towel around her for more wetness, and waited.
Her head turned to face her room as she heard a boom. When she looked into her mirror, she saw smoke and flames jumping into her room, grabbing at anything they could reach. And they were rapidly approaching her.
She coughed as smoke filled her lungs. Then she fainted.
