The Bet
Nora was sitting in biology trying to focus on what Coach was saying. It was hard for her to focus with the way Patch kept staring at her.
You know I think I'll collect on that unsettled bet soon
She stiffened a little when she hear Patch in her mind. She was a bit annoyed so it took her a minute to process what he said and then respond to it.
And…umm… how are you going to collect exactly?

Before she could respond she was seeing candles spread all over a room, a couple dozen roses, and Patch in the kitchen.
Nora gasped a little, when the image stopped, in surprise of being in the classroom. When she looked at Patch he had a big smirk on his face. Seeing the smirk annoyed her so she decided to ignore him and pay attention to Coach's talk about sexual diseases.
When the bell rang 23 minutes later Nora was last out because she had to wait for Vee, who was flirting with the person that sat infront of her. When Vee came over she asked if Nora wanted to go get something to eat, but Nora just wanted to get home.
When she was driving home she started thinking about Patch and what he was planning. From there her mind ventured to love, how much she loved him, if he loved her, and so on.
As she got home Nora noticed Patch's motorcycle in the driveway. She sighed when she remembered that Dorthea wasn't there so it would just be her and Patch. She opened the door and headed for the kitchen. Surprise was the first emotion Nora felt when she looked at the kitchen and saw the only light came from a ton of candles, and then she smelt all the lilies.
"I think a fair bet is you cooking me dinner." Nora heard Patch say from the chair he was sitting on.
"But I'm not good at cooking."
"Don't worry I'll help you Angel." he told her.
"Thanks was the only thing she could say as she thought of how sweet he was and how much she loved him. But her thoughts were interrupted when she heard Patch say, "And Nora I want you to know, I love you too.
