We Are One
This is the prequel to "The End Of The Line"
"We are one with ourselves,
Don't give a shit about anyone else,"
Relena stood in front of a group, trying to force them to see that peace was the way. She didn't think about people who might try to kill to keep war the same way. People like Duo Maxwell.
"Well, it won't be wrong until our day in the sun is gonna stop,
The walls come tumbling down!"
Duo fingered his long braid and pulled a piece out of his pocket. "Time to die, fucker."
"We are one!
We are free!
We are headed for obscurity!"
Relena stopped in shock when she saw Heero enter the room. She then saw the look of warning on his face and she felt the blood drain from her face.
"We are one!
We are weak!
We are gonna make ourselves extinct!"
"Shit!" she yelled as a bullet flung into her shoulder and Duo retreated back into the darkness. "Dammit! Heero, help me! Dammit!" Another bullet hit her hard in the leg.
"Let it go!
We're gonna let it go!
It's real, we are one!"
Relena fumbled around her pocket for the tiny pistol. She found it and fired defensively back at Duo, who took the bullet in his arm and wrapped it in a bandage. "Die, you mother fucker!" he yelled to Relena, reloading his gun.
"You know it's true,
Don't fuck with us, or we'll fuck with you!
It's mentality that kills the best!"
"Duo! You maniac, drop the gun!" Heero yelled, leveling his gun to Duo's face. He ended up with his arm in a twisted mess and his nose broken and flowing with blood.
"We better stop,
The walls come tumbling down!"
Duo reaimed his gun at Relena, and ended up having to shoot twelve people to get a clean shot at her again. Then came the guards.
"We are one and it won't be news,
When we hang ourselves with one collective noose,
Well, it won't be wrong untill our day in the sun is gonna stop!"
Duo emptied his gun on the guards and drew a knife from a sheath on his belt. "Sayonara, kusotare!" he yelled, throwing the knife into Relena's stomach, causing her to cough up her blood and fall over, a pool of the red liquid forming around her. Heero ran to her, dragging his messed up arm behind him. He lifted her face and saw that she was barely alive. "H-Heero. I-I love you," she coughed. "I love you too," he said, a teardrop falling down from his eye. "Kiss me before I die," she said, struggling to breath. He softly kissed the girl and sucked in her dying breath. The police sirens began to play around them.
"The bigger they are,
The harder they fall!"
