The Tree House of the Mad Genius
-Gazal Singh
Once there was a mad genius who had a tree house. He lived in a big house at the city. There was guard outside the gate they also had at the back of the castle where the garden was. The rich family had a army too that when someone came to attack them the army would protect them. Anyway the mad geniuses name was David. When David woke up one morning he went to his parents' room to ask if he could go to his tree house. His parents said no. His dad said he could go after breakfast. David was disappointed to hear what his dad said to him when he went there. He did not like it when his dad made an excuse to make him not go to his tree house that he had. So he decided to teach his parents a lesson. Even though he was a kid he was still a genius. But he was worried what if he failed? His parents were more than a genius than him. Now he started to wait by watching T.V. Finally it was breakfast time and his parents got up and gave him breakfast. Now he could finally go to his tree house. But there was a terrible storm outside so he could not go. Then he asked his parents if he could go outside with his raincoat and his boots. Obviously they said no. The day was going to be very boring for David because he had nothing to do. So David had to find something to do before his parents got even madder than before. So he started to think about it. And it turned out that the storm was over and he could go to his very own tree house. Again David went to ask his parents if he could go. Now they said yes. So he went to his tree house and climbed the rope ladder. When he climbed up he said out loud, I want a smaller house. 'SPRING' up came a wise beautiful fairy. She gave him a magic wand and said, make a wish come true. "Thanks." said David. He was not a mad genus anymore. He was a nice kind man. "I wish my tree house was magic and took me to wherever I told it to by the wand." POP! The tree house began to glow with light. The light was too bright for David's eyes, so he closed them until the tree house stopped glowing. David opened his eyes, just then David found a 'D' that shimmered on the wooden floor. David wondered what the 'D' stood for. Then he realized that it stood for his very own name. Now David wanted to go somewhere like the desert, Australia, New York, United States, North Pole, Antarctica, The Moon, Japan, Amazon rain forest, Dark Ages, Camping trip and that's it. So all he had to do was to choose one of these places to go to. He was thinking that he might go to a camping trip in the forest. "I wish I could go to the forest for a camping trip," said David. "Hoot!" said the owls in the night sky. "Yikes," Freaked David. "I can't see a thing, the forest is to dark," said David. So he decided to wish for a flashlight, a tent, and a sleeping bag. 'BONG'. A tent, a flashlight, and a sleeping bag popped up. David slowly climbed down the rope ladder. When he got down he slipped into his sleeping bag and said good night to himself. After 18 minutes he realized it was Halloween, so he went back to the tree house and made a wish to go home. Finally he reached home and said good-night to the tree house even though it was not night time. When he climbed down the tree house he saw his mom in the distance. He ran to his mom and hugged her as hard as he could and told her about his adventure and how the tree house took him there. His mom told him not to go to somewhere like that ever again.
