Alright! I have been meaning to do this for awhile. My first Sweeney Todd story! Though, I suppose it is not really a story, but rather a bunch of poems. Nonetheless! I will start out by writing at least one poem for each song of the soundtrack—maybe more if it's a favorite—and put them up, one at a time as I go.
A Hole in the World
Once, I was a well respected man
Life went my way.
Until that faithful day.
They say that ignorance is bliss.
If only I could say
that was true.

t was my 'bliss' that cost me my love
I was blind to him,
unknowing of his whims.
They say that love never dies.
my heart's filled to the brim
with love for my lost.
Now, free from that hell-hole
I return to the old pit
with fox-like wit
Revenge is a dish best served cold
the crime I am to commit
will satisfy my blood-lust
