"Wipe that smile off your face."Sion tried to, really… but wound up bending over in a fit of laughter instead. "I'm sorry, Domon-san, it's just--"
"It's just your fault, that's what it is." Domon grabbed Sion by the wrist, dragging him down the park trail. "You're the one who couldn't bother to tell me where you would be when it was time for me to pick you up. So I wound up searching the entire park, and then the wind knocked my hat off, and then--"
"Like you said earlier, you fell into a large pile of autumn leaves while trying to find it," Sion finished for him. "You still have a few in your hair, by the way."
Sion couldn't help but smile again as Domon made a dismayed sound, grabbing at the offending leaves. When he was done, he gave Sion a hard look. "Remind me why I'm in love with you again?"
There was another sudden gust of wind, and Domon was so busy trying to fight off dead leaves again that he never noticed that Sion was leaning up to kiss to him until his lips were on his.
When the kiss was over, Domon gave his teammate a half-hearted glare. "Oh, yeah. That's why," he said in the tone of someone who knows they've been beaten.
Sion smiled again, but there was sympathy mixed in with the bemusement now. "We better get back before it gets too cold." His hand slipped into Domon's as he guided them home. Then the wind blew again, but despite what Sion had said, this one didn't seem cold to Domon at all.
