Sion had suggested that he be patient. Ayase had said that he was opening up a Pandora's Box. But Domon had always been impatient and didn't give a crap about Greco-Roman mythology. And someone needed to talk to Yuuri before she reverted back to 'don't tell anyone about my issues' mode. At least if it was him, they could all blame it on him being his usual blunt, less than bright self.

She was spending so much time at work these days that he decided it was best if he just waited outside the station for her. He'd been there for about three hours (and grateful that he'd had the sense of mind to bring a sandwich) when he spotted her coming down the steps.

He ran up to her. There was no point in beating around the bush. "So, you ready to talk about Tatsuya yet?"

Yuuri didn't miss a beat as she kept walking. "Are you ready to talk about Honami yet?"

The sudden tightness in Domon's chest was so much that he stumbled a step.

Luckily, Yuuri caught him before he went tumbling… and she gave him a sympathetic look as she helped him upright. "I'm sorry, that was a low blow."

"No, I'm sorry." He did his best to grin as he waved a hand at her. "I shouldn't have brought it up, I just--"

"Don't want me to lose myself in my loneliness. I've been around you long enough to know that what's you were thinking, Domon." She gazed at him levelly. "But maybe I'm not ready to talk about it now."

He looked away… and then he felt a hand on his shoulder. "And maybe knowing that you're here for me when I am ready is enough."

Domon wasn't entire sure why he was smiling. After all, he hadn't accomplished anything. But things seemed… a little lighter now. "Okay," he agreed as he led her down the stairs. "So how about we get some food? It turns out that the one sandwich I brought with wasn't that filling after all." Yuuri rolled her eyes, mumbled something about having a ton of paper work to do… but she added she could do it at wherever they ate as she followed him down the steps

Domon smiled all the way.
