Percy's Twin-Prologue, The Beginning

"Pearl? What's ya doin?" A 5-year-old Percy asked his twin sister. Pearl Weasley looked at her slightly older brother and bowed her head.
"I'm runnin' way. I can't live here no more Perk, I jus' can't. The boy that lives down the road, ya know my 'boyfriend'? He's getin' real mean, he slapped me yesterday and then he kicked me an' today he puncheded me in the stomach and slapped me again. He said tha' he'd hurt mama and papa if I told them. Perk don' tell them, pwease, don' tell um nuttin. I gots ta go, he'll hurt everyone if I don's. Love ya Percy." She said softly and kissed her brother on the cheek, then she bent down and picked up the small pack she had been packing. He was to shocked because she had used his real name to do anything. It was late at night and he saw her step into Bill and Charlie's room to kiss them goodbye. She left her pack right outside their door and stepped in.
"Bye Bill, bye Charlie. Love you two." She said and kissed their sleeping forms on the forehead. She left the room and walked across the hall to Fred and George's room she repeated the process with the 2 3-year-olds and finally walked over to the new baby's room.
"Bye Ron, you take good care of everyone, don' let um get in too much trouble, ya gotta watch out for Percy for me, ya hear me? Good, much love Ron." She said kissing her 3rd baby brother on the cheek. He was barely a year old and their mom was already getting ready to have another baby, they all predicted this one to be a girl. "Take care of your baby sibling too." She said and kissed Ron one more time.
When she walked out to the hall Percy was still standing there with understanding in his eyes. The twins silently agreed that they'd see each other again some day. Tears trailed both their cheeks as they hugged and kissed the other's cheek one last time.
"Love you." Were the last words they said as Pearl slipped out of their house and into the night.

Percy woke up with silent tears running down his cheeks, it had been nearly 6 years since that night and in 3 days he was going to Hogwarts. He wondered about when he would see his sister again, he could *feel* that she was still alive and he could *feel* that she was wanting to see him again. Ever since she left he had stopped playing pranks and gripped the rules so tightly that all of his siblings poked fun at him. He hadn't laughed or smiled since she left and couldn't find a reason to until she was with him again. His oldest brother Bill would be starting his 6th year and Charlie would be starting his 5th. Fred and George would be starting Hogwarts in another 2 years and Ron 3 years after that with Ginny starting a year after that.
'If Pearl was still here,' Percy thought to himself sadly, 'then we could be goofing off and planning the pranks that we'd wreck on Hogwarts. I miss her soooo much. Besides, Ginny would *love* knowing her older sister.' He sighed despairingly, if only Pearl was still there....
