March of the Mary Sues

Severus Snape loved Mary Sue, although he had no idea why. She had come to Hogwarts one day in the guise of a Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, and sometimes as Hermione Granger herself aged somewhere between 11-26. Severus Snape loved Mary Sue… whether it was her due to her mind-boggling 38 DDD breasts, size 18 inch waist… the 6 inch spiked heels she deemed wear in his presence, or the black leather corset that peeked out beneath her robes as she staggered over to greet him, hobbling due to the ungodly height… he was not certain.

Was it that intellect? The mind of a genius, that body of a Goddess? Perhaps…. Was it the time she punched him in the nose just to show him up? Maybe….

Most likely he felt, it owed to the fact that Mary Sue was vapid, had little personality, no hobbies, or goals except for showing up regularly in the story. She was maudlin, her parents had been murdered by Voldemort. She was a Mudblood who was raped at the hands of Draco Malfoy. Poor poor Mary Sue… he had to save her from near death. She had to save him from his eternal misery.

For the secret Severus Snape kept was, that he had been a Death Eater… he was a dark, sad, complicated man, who longed to be saved. To be changed by the needy co-dependant Mary Sue of his dreams.

Severus Snape loved Mary Sue… Mary Sue, who appeared at the head table one day, beloved of Dumbledore, darling of the staff at Hogwarts… she seemed to be borne of a girl's wet dream.

Severus loved his Mary Sue… and one day soon after the rape, the death of her parents, his near death, her kidnapping by the vile Malfoy family. They would marry, be together forever… and none of the emotional scars of their lives would remain… because Mary Sue would change Severus into some Slytherin scarf wearing prince charming who loved to attend PTA meetings while managing to instill terror into the general public. Then, she would most likely be hit by the Hogwarts Express, and he'd never ever get over the death of his Mary Sue.

He would stare blankly at her headstone, placing flowers there weeping every Saturday at Hogsmeade.

Until one day… when Mary Sue part 2 arrived.
