In a small bar in london, a figure set on one of the many chair stools at the bar front as a bar man poured him a bottle of old scotch. His name was Klaus. As he sipped the drink, he thought of the century he had almost broken the hybrid curse, only to be thwarted by the last ingredient. Katherine.

What infuriated him the most was that his brother Elijah he considered his blood was the one behind it who had unknowingly tipped Katherine about her being the sacrifice and had initially acquired an elixir that would revive her from death, only to be thwarted by the said girl as she fled with another ingredient, a moonstone. Klaus had known at the time that his brother had slowly began to fall in love with the girl and told him countlessly to end the relationship since it would cause him problems which it did in the end.

As he thought of this, he heard a chair on his left side being pulled back,

"Hello, i would like a glass of martini please."

Klaus turned to look at the soft female eyes only to find himself lost in the pair of bright green eyes.

"Excuse me, but it's a bit impolite to stare." the female spoke.

"Sorry, but you have mesmerizing eyes," he replied. Klaus then looked at her fully and admitted to himself that she was rather beautiful with her thick dark red hair that reached her shoulders.

"Flattery will get you nowhere,"

"I meant it as a compliment," responded Klaus.

"So what brings a lovely young lady such as yourself to a place like this?"

"I had an argument with my husband and just needed some space to breathe and a drink", she replied as she raised the martini to her mouth taking a sip.

"My name is Lily by the way, Lily Potter,"

She raised her hand for him to shake,

"Klaus Mikaelson, a pleasure," klaus took the said hand and kissed it, and smirked when Lily blushed at the gesture.

And so they talked for hours ordering more drinks until they were too drunk to continue and left the bar. Klaus signaled for a taxi and both got in and went to his apartment.

The following morning, Klaus slowly opened his eyelids and turned slowly to the other side of the bed, and was shocked to see Lily sleeping at his side. He tried to remember what happened the previous night, and the memories rushed in his mind like a flood. They had had drunken sex, and all their clothes were scattered on the floor.

"Lily it's time to wake up," he patted her

"Hmm, James what time is it?," she responded opening her eyes, and suddenly jumped of the bed taking the bed sheet with her.

"Klaus what's going on here," she shouted fully awake now with eyes wide open.

Klaus resisted laughing at the sight of her shocked face, by covering it with a cough.

"This isn't funny. Oh merlin we slept together didn't we?"

She then rushed to her clothes and began to put them on going on and own in hysterics about how she was going to tell James. Klaus just told her, that telling the truth coupled with apologies is way better than telling lies which would only haunt her.

Lily agreed, and said her goodbyes before leaving.

…..Now, present time ….

"Elijah," breathed Klaus as he lay on the ground facing upwards.

He then gasped as he felt excruciating pain as Elijah shoved his hand through his chest breaking his ribs before holding on to his heart. His own brother was about to kill him. He couldn't believe this, he had finally broken his curse and before he could celebrate he would die instead. "Such betrayal," he thought.

"In the name of our family Niklaus," spoke Elijah as he prepared to end the burden he had carried for centuries.

Before Klaus could tell him about their family being safe, a loud crack was heard in the forest. Elijah suddenly yanked out his hand from his chest and dropped to the ground howling to the sky in agony his body twitching and then suddenly he stopped.

"No Elijah you will not kill your brother!," a young female voice screeched at a distance.

Stefan, Bonnie, Klaus and Elijah all looked at the approaching female as she walked past the altar heading for elijah and Klaus holding a wooden small stick.

"Evelyn what the hell are you doing here?!," shouted bonnie as she recognised the British redhead who had come to live in Mystic Falls a few months ago.

"To stop you from making a terrible mistake", she replied as she reached Klaus who started shifting into a wolf as his bones started snapping.

"He is a monster Evelyn that needs to be put down, and how exactly do you know about him?!," shouted an angry Stefan.

"And are you not a monster yourself Stefan?" She asked. "You who willingly shut off your emotions and slaughter entire villages and you have the nerve to call Klaus a monster."

Stefan froze at that revelation and wondered how she knew about his misdeeds.

"I have friends in high places Stefan, if you are wondering how i knew."

"That doesn't change the fact that you want to save Klaus after what he did to Jenna and Elena. There invited you into their family home, and this is how you repay them." Bonnie spoke angrily.

"I find it amusing that you aid The Salvatore brothers after what they did to your Grandmother Bonnie." She replied with a smirk. "Oh and Klaus is my father."

Everyone just looked at her as if she was crazy, but the moment she came into Elijah's view he gasped loudly at her features. He could see the resemblance clearly. The nose, and the cheekbones, right down to the trademark smirk that meant nothing but trouble. "She was Niklaus's daughter." He concluded.

"Great, as if one Klaus was not trouble enough." Elijah thought as he groaned

"If you don't end this Elijah i will!" shouted Bonny as she began to chant her spell.

"The power you channel from a hundred dead witches still isn't enough to stop me Bonnie." Evelyn spoke as she waved her wand towards Bonnie. They was a loud bang as Bonnie was hit by an unforeseen spell on her chest. The bystanders watched in shock as the girl was thrown roughly against a tree and fell down in a dead faint.

Elijah saw Stefan rushing towards his niece in blind rage, but before he could stop him, Evelyn waved her wand again. A thick long black chain appeared out of nowhere and bound Stefan before he fell to the ground.

"Only an original can break out of that chain Stefan." Evelyn spoke when he saw him struggling. She then turned sharply towards Klaus when she heard his bones start to snap.

"We need to go uncle Elijah, we cannot let Klaus transform near Mystic Falls." Evelyn spoke as she approached them and placed her hands on their shoulders.

Elijah was puzzled by this gesture, and before he could ask what she was doing, the next thing he knew everything went black; he was pressed very hard from all directions; he could not breathe, there were iron bands tightening around his chest; his eyeballs were being forced back into his head; his ear-drums were being pushed deeper into the skull.

Suddenly he dropped to the ground deeper in a forest with both Evelyn and a fully transformed werewolf which then stood on all its feet and disappeared into the night.

Elijah was shocked as the girl before him started to take off her jacket, and when she was about to take off her t-shirt she looked at Elijah with a slight blush.

"Do you mind turning around?," She hissed.

Elijah quickly turned to look to the other side, and heard as the girl jumped to the ground. What shocked him the most was when he heard a howl, and quickly turned only to see a black wolf in his presence, and then it ran deeper into the forest after Klaus leaving its clothing behind

"How did she shift so quickly," was the only question on his mind before he picked up her clothes and followed them both.
