He leaned into the door jam, just watching her.
She
was still in her gown, organizing his desk for the thousandth
time
that week. It was late and Leo had told them all to go and get
some
sleep.
She
finally noticed his reflection in the window and they looked at
each
other for a moment. "You really do look amazing
tonight,
Donnatella"
he said, almost as a whisper.
She
turned and smiled at him like earlier and, at that point,
all
reasonable
thought left his mind and he walked over and kissed her
with
everything he had in him.
