A Mayor's Life

My Animal Crossing: New Leaf experience.
My name's Johny. I'm a straightforward guy who doesn't 'beat around the bush'. Much.
On my way to the town of Dardon, I saw a cat that I had (Luckily) not seen for 11 years.
"R-Rover?"
"Do I know you?"
"Er... Never mind."
"Mind if I sit with you?"
"Yes."
"Thanks." He said, sitting down. "What's your name?"
"Johny."
"Where you going?"
"Dardon."
"Never heard of it."
[Huzzah! I'm free of him!]
A/N: Brackets means thoughts.
He showed me some maps and asked me which was Dardon. I purposely showed him the wrong one.
"Have you ever been there before?"
"No."
"Why're you-?"
"I'm moving. No, I don't have a house yet, and you don't need to call someone and get me a home!"
A few minutes later...
"OH MI GOSH!" Said a pink bear, "Look who just arrived in town!"
"That has to be the person we're waiting for, right?" Asked a yellow mustached rhino.
"What are we waiting for?" Asked a penguin, "Let's just say hi already!"
"OK guys, here we go." Said a yellow dog. "From everyone in Dardon Town..."
"WELCOME!" Shouted Everybody.
"Mayor," Said the dog, "We're so happy you're finally here!"
"You're mistaken!" Shouted... You know this one.
"Um... Oh, you're such a kidder, Johny. You said you'd be here today, on this train, and here you are! We'll talk about this at town hall."
Then, she left.
[She's obviously insane. Wait... Am I turning down the offer of mayor? What's wrong with me?]
"I'm Isabelle, your secretary." She said. [AKA, personal slave.] "The penguin, rhino, and bear are Friga, Harry, and Cheri, respectively. I was surprised you were so young, but... Youth is a breath of fresh air. You need to go to Nook's Homes."
After I got a house *cough* tent *cough*, I had to plant a tree. After that, I went to bed.
