If I fall
Will you catch me?

If I die
Will you save me?

If I cry
Will you dry my tears?

If I scream
Will you fight my fears?

Will you wonder where I am
If I left forever?

Would you care?

If you found out,
That all we knew was a lie

Would I still be your brother
Or nothing more than a monster?

To tell children stories about.

Or a memory.

Of a better time

Of illusions

Of family

Of lies.
