My first Harry Potter fanfic. Such emotions!

Hermione felt relieved when everybody went out of the room. Even Harry understood the matter and smiled to her when he left. She was left with Ron and Mrs. Pomfrey, whom she hoped was far away. Holding Ron's hand in hers, she looked down at her best friend. He slept peacefully, now that the danger was away from his dream. She wondered what has happened which caused him much distress. In any case, she was glad that that stupid Lavender won't be near him anymore. She felt at first that her heart was torn to pieces before the green dragon of jealousy had taken over. he had hidden her distress behind a shell of indifference but every night tears soaked her pillow.

She wondered when she fell in love with him. The second year he had taken up the fight with Draco and got to throw up snails. The fourth year, he was weird after the ball, when he found out that she had a date with Viktor. Last year, she just remembered constant fighting. This year, well, there is McLaggen and that Lavender. She could not stand his laziness, his way of getting angry at Ginny and that stupid smile…the same smile she loved, the way he looked when he played Quidditch. Not to forget that gorgeous body. She wondered why she had not fallen in love with Harry, which would seem only natural. After all, he was handsome, kind, honest, rich and understood the Muggle world. But destiny had taken another course.

She looked down at Ron who was unaware of the distress he had been in. Hermione didn't know what she had done if Ron died. She was so panicked at the idea that she took his hand and placed on her chin, to be sure this was real. She felt the palm of his hand, the sensation it gave and relaxed. Yes, Ron would wake up and quarrel with her tomorrow. But now her desires were elsewhere. She wanted to do what Lavender had done for several weeks, to place her lips on his and abandon herself to him, to feel his body against hers. Ron started to move and Hermione was terrified that he read her thoughts or something. She released his hand and hurried down the room, too afraid to be at Ron's side if he would wake up. At the door, she remembered a spell she had read in one of the magazines that Ginny had in her room. She murmured: Kyssantem and left the room. She was too shy to do it in real, at least was the illusion that she had done it. She smiled and left the room.

Ron felt calm and relaxed. He was on a bench on a field covered with red flowers. He didn't know the type, but he knew that he would pick some for Hermione if he had the opportunity. Why he did not think of Lavender first escaped him. He was too relaxed to move or do anything else. Suddenly he saw some of the flowers move, but then the flowers became a dress and the dress soon became attached to a head and legs. The human had been moving forward toward him and was now blocking the sun that had been shining on his face. The person was obviously a girl with nice long legs and curly hair that fell down her shoulders. Ron just knew who she was and he could not content his joy. She was here, with him! He did not had to be blind to see her big brown eyes, the small nose and the pink decided mouth which made her the most beautiful girl he had ever known. Hermione sat down next to him, her legs on Ron's lap. The red dress was too short to hide the naked legs, which Ron didn't see because he was too occupied to stare at her face. She took his face between her hands and kissed him full-mouth. She tasted more delicious than any food in the world, and he reached out to pull her closer. But when he wanted to feel her body, he only hugged cold hair and it took some time for him to realize that he was back in his bed, in the sick room with no Hermione in sight.
