Recently our world has received many unwelcome visitors, causing our population to skyrocket and aggravating Sin. We have had this happen before, with people claiming to have come from ancient Zanarkand, and Al Bhed entering the mainland, but this new wave is unrelated to either. They are making off with our men and women, upsetting the balance of power, tarnishing the reputations of summoners and guardians, and some even claim to have been born here.
Many are fluent in both official languages of the realm, and alternate between them frequently. Also, theories of this wave being another group of ancient Zanarkandese had popped up, since many also happen to speak the phonetic, yet grammatically unique language of ancient Zanarkand. However, not all of them have blue eyes. Some have green eyes like the Al Bhed, but without swirled pupils, and many have eye colors unheard of in Spira, even shifting from time to time!
When asked how they got here, many speak of some "PS2". I don't know what that is, probably some sort of machina, but whatever it is, this PS2 and these portals it creates are an evil matched only by the war between Zanarkand and Bevelle. Yevon urges that these portals be closed before we are overrun, and before their number exceeds and dilutes our normal population, throwing it into chaos with their recklessness.
