Title: forever has no name

Summary: He means too much to her.

Word Count: 160

Rating: G

Warning: This contains spoilers for Doomsday. Oh yeah, and there's angst. Of course. I would classify this under Doctor/Rose...Ten/Rose, to be specific. And this is my first Doctor Who fic..so be as cruel as possible. It might be horrible.

Disclaimer: Doctor Who isn't mine - it belongs to the BBC. The only thing that I own is this drabble.

Notes: This goes out to Chrissy also. Hope you like it, hon.

Rose Tyler has forgotten how to live.

-

This is the story of how I died.

-

She tries to move on.

At first she waits.

She knows he's not coming back, she'll never see him again, but she refuses to forget.

Slowly she starts to live a normal (not peaceful - Torchwood is the Creator and Destroyer) life. She stops waiting.

He would've wanted her to.

-

She still hopes.

It's all she has left.

She hopes to help him keep on fighting, even if he's guided by only her memory.

She'd never give up on the Doctor. He means too much to her.

It's dangerous to let go.

-

She wonders if he ever gets tired of being everyone's savior. The lonely soldier.

Long ago she would've thought it odd that an alien would save the universe time and time again. It's not surprising anymore.

She knows why he does it.

He believes in humanity.

-

Rose Tyler is reborn.

-

Postscript:

She will remember.
