I wrote this because of the lack of fanfics about Crim. I mean there wasn't even ONE when I searched. Not ONE!I guess Crim isn't exactly a popular character though... so if your bothering to read this, I guess you might be one of the few Crim fans around here!
"If that's so, then I quit!" Crim declared. he couldn't help but notice the flicker of fear in Subaru's eyes. She thought he had played the villain to help keep the knights under control. She was wrong, he was sick and tired of being Lord Crim of the crimson knights, he almost regretted his decision when he saw a bit of insecurity return to her. He didn't want to stop being Subaru's Crim, even if he quit the knights. He reminded her to keep moving forward, he even gave her his phone number in the real world, just in case she even needed him. He didn't just log out after he called it quits, he decided to do what he wanted: play the game.
He went to a root town, perhaps to stock up on items and health potions, and so he could save his game. It was a chance encounter, really, he just saw the wave master sitting on the street, not really doing anything. At first Crim didn't recognize Tsukasa, but once he did he felt the need to talk, so here walked over.
"You'd be Tsukasa, wouldn't you?" he had to make sure he wasn't mistaken.
"Yeah," the wave master responded, not looking up.
"I've heard a lot about you." Tsukasa was interested now.
"From who?"
"Subaru," he answered simply, he kid's eyes widened.
"What did she say?"
"She just wonders about you, you're a pretty mysterious player, you know." Tsukasa gives me that strange half smile of his, as if he doesn't fully understand Crim.
Subaru only used Crim's phone number to tell him she had net Tsukasa in the real world. He was relived that the kid had finally regained consciousness, also he learned Tsukasa was in fact, a girl.
He watched the girls dance together at the party at net slum. He smiled to himself when he saw Tsukasa, Silver Knight and Sora do that ridiculous twirling dance, almost wanting to join them. He was content at the edge of the party, though. He knew his role was done now, Subaru had good friends now. Mimiru, subaru, and Tsukasa; those three were very close knit. He would watch from a far now, his assistance was unlikely to be needed again. But he would be there if she ever needed him, he would always be Subaru's Crim.
