"Justin," Theresa said, "We have to talk"
"Okay mom," Justin said.
"So I had a word with Harper a few minutes ago. Apparently Alex told her about what happened earlier and the way you told the story wasn't correct young man"
"Oh," Justin mumbled.
DAMN HARPER! He thought he had it in the bag.
"JUSTIN DID YOU PUT A SPELL ON ALEX TO MAKE HER THINK THAT THE WAY YOU TOLD THE STORY WAS ACCURATE THUS GETTING HER IN TROUBLE AFTERWARD," Theresa scolded
"No," Justin more asked then said.
"Harper told me all about it young man," Theresa scolded, "You owe your sister an apology and you're grounded until the end of the year"
"But that's five months away," Justin yelled, "and it's not fair. Alex is the perfect little princess. She always gets her way. I try so hard but she outs me at every turn. What else was I supposed to do!"
"Justin," Theresa's voice was gentle now, "Yes I understand you feel bested by Alex but you didn't handle the situation correctly. If you're feeling jealous you need to talk to her about it and talk to us about it. You don't hurt your sister and put a spell on her to make her agree with you. I love you just as much as I love Alex and there are plenty of things you're better then her at but you made a bad choice Justin. You need to apologize to your sister"
"Fine," Justin said, "I'll apologize but I'm not happy about it"
"Apologize correctly and I'll shorten the grounding to a week and a week of doing Alex's chores," Theresa said
"Fine," Justin said
"One more thing," Theresa told him, "I do love you. Never forget that Mijo"
She gave him a hug.
