The old sorcerer Yubaba watched Haku lead the young human she called Sen away back across to the river that led back to the human world.
'Just who are you really Sen?' she thought.
Yubaba was very old and considered very powerful. In all her years of seeing humans come across into the spirit world, no human had ever made it back again. Even she did not know what would happen if a human had ever made it back. Yubaba knew that when humans came to the spirit world they absorbed the magic of the spiritual world until they were not considered human anymore. It usually took a human about 3 months or less depending on how old they were to lose there trace of humanity completely. For a ten year old girl it would take about 6 weeks. Sen had spent a month here. Now her parents never absorbed any of the spirit world for they were protected by her magic the moment they were turned into pigs. But for Sen, how would the spirit world effort her?
She knew that Sen would be different the moment she saw her. As if she knew the ancient gods had a plan for her. She wondered what the young human's destiny would be?
Closing her eyes, she could no longer feel Sen or Chihiro as she was now called again.
With a light smile on her lips, Yubaba turned to return back to her business.

Fully stepping away from the tunnel, Chihiro now looked back but all she could see was a long dark tunnel with just a speck of light on the other side. She was feeling sad about leaving the spirit world. She knew she would miss her friends especially Haku. Part of her wanted to go back and run into the arms of Kohaku River. But he had promised her that they would see each other again.
Chihiro smiled at the thought. She knew she would miss her parents if she went back. This was the best place for her to be. She turned back around and headed for the car. She wondered of her parents remembered anything about the spirit world?
Chihiro gasped at the state of the car. It had looked abandoned for weeks. Blown leaves now covered the top and the inside was covered in dust. Her flowers had long dried up. She looked up and saw her parents had a look of confusion on their faces. Her mothers eyes were wide in shock as she looked back at the tunnel they had came from.
"Whats going on here?" she heard her mother muttered.
"Maybe someone is just playing a trick on us" Her father shugged his shoulders.
After she helped her mother and father clear the leaves off the car, it took about 30 minutes for them to drive to their new home. Chihiro knew that the movers would be long gone.
But when they all arrived to their new home, her parents were in a state of shock. Chihiro saw about 2 dozen newspapers lying around their front lawn. As they arrived, the house was filled with boxes and furnature. Chihiro read a note from the movers "your late. left boxes and furnature inside signed Reliable Movers"
"Look Honey! This newspaper reads October 16th!" her mother exclaimed in shock as she was holding a newspaper that looked the newest.
Her father gasped at the date.
For they had been gone a total of 32 days.

In later chapters, Chihiro will find she has certain uh powers. Think of her as a balance of half human and half spirit.
