"So what are you doing this for again?" Kisshu asked as Pai set up his equipment. He sighted before turning to Kisshu and Taruto.
"It's very simple. The mew mew's powers are strong, disturbingly close to our own. I think it best to heighten our strengths by essentially stealing a little trick from their leaders."
"You want to turn us into mew mews?" Kisshu stated dully.
"Not mew mews exactly, just-"
"Mew mews." Pai sighed, a small signal of the searing rage burning through him.
"Yes. Mew mews. Anything to shut you up, Kisshu." Then, he stood beside the two other boys, a button connected to a large machine by a thin black wire.
"Is this going to hurt?" Asked Taruto, he never go an answer as the machinery threw a violent white light at the three. It lasted a matter of seconds, then it gave a flash of pink and shut off.
"I don't feel any different."
"Naturally. You need one of these-" Pai walked away and picked up three silver objects and handed one to each boy and kept the last.
"Like mew mew's pendants." Pai sighed and nodded, in no way ready for an argument with Kisshu. At that moment.
"Supposedly, instinct tells you how to use them-" before he could finish, Kisshu shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Mew mew Quiche, Metamorphosis!" Pai and Taruto watched in fascination as red light receded to reveal Kisshu, looking slightly different. His hair was blood red, still in it's usual style apart from little ears peeking out of his head. tiger ears. Kisshu seemed entirely unfazed by this as he idly looked at his new costume. His pendant hing from a black choker and he wore knee high black boots, red shorts and arm guards, and a black shirt. It was his tail that freaked him out. It kept winding and unwinding around his leg out of his control.
"Well, theres one way to find out how these things work. Rush in with no instruction or warning or further testing." Pai hissed.
"Mew mew Tart, Metamorphosis!" Pai sighed as he watched Taruto change into what appeared to be some sort of primate. Black furry ears poked out either side of his head as well as a fluffy little tail. His bronze hair turned a bright orange along with his shorts, arm guard, and leg guards. His shirt turned black and the neckpiece dissappeared, replace with a black choker holding his pendant.
"You may as well Pai." Kisshu stated, still slightly distracted by his tail.
"Mew mew Pie, metamorphosis." He stated, disgruntled. He closed his eyes and allowed the transformation to take place. He only opened his eyes when he heard snickering. Kisshu and Pai tried to hold in their laughter at Pai's appearance but failed miserably. Pai looked down and groaned.
"I tried to find DNA similar to the mew mews, a tiger versus a cat and a common marmoset versus golden tamerin lion monkey. I decided to settle for a finless porpoise, the same as the green mew, simply out of a hurry to finish the experament. I obtained this from the lab in cafe mew mew. I believe I took a sample of the green mew's DNA instead." He flushed a light pink as he stared down at his uniform. Or rather, Mew Lettuce's uniform.
"I don't believe we should use these forms. Ever."
