She was scared. Scared of getting her heart broken. The farther they went, the more it would hurt. Because when she fell, she fell hard. She laughed as her and Eddie reminisced about the term, leaning against his bed.

"Remember Willow's hedgehogs?" he asked.

"Victor and Trudy? How could I forget?" she laughed, still worrying.

"Patricia, you don't know what it was like when you were evil... you weren't you. I couldn't take it, I missed you, Yacker"

"I kinda wanted to talk about that." she sighed, taking a deep breath. "You know. Us." she said, gesturing between the two. "It's just... I don't think it's working." she lied, her own words stinging.

"Are you tryi-"

She cut him off. "Trying to break up with you? Yeah." she muttered, just wanting to get it over with. But she already missed him. His fingers running through her hair... his soft lips connected to hers... the way he held her hand so gently.

She shyed away a she placed a hand on her waist softly. "Patricia." he stated, looking her in the eyes. "Do you trust me?"

Patricia gulped: she did. She really did trust him. As much as she wanted to say no, her sweet side took over, and she said yes, not even realizing it, but not really caring as he pressed his lips to hers.

He played with her hair, ran his hands through it, twirled her deep red locks around his fingers. It was her weakness. She just loved how he ruffled her hair up everytime they kissed. He smiled into the kiss as she deepened it, his hands trailing along the ruffled end of her top. He only pulled away slightly to say five words: "You know you're perfect, Yacker?"

This drove her crazy. She kissed him again, as his hands travelled up the side of her shirt. "I love you." she whispered faintly, planting a kiss on his neck. She shuddered as he returned the favor—they'd never gone this far before, and it was honestly the last thing she expected to do that night—after all, she was trying to break up with him.

Suddenly aware of their surroundings, they pulled away. It ruined the moment; there was no way they were continuing that somewhere else. "I'm... I'm gonna go..." she huffed awkwardly, fixing her hair into a ponytail and getting up.

"Some other time..." she mumbled awkwardly as she walked out the door, thinking he didn't hear her.

Spoiler alert: he did.
