A/N: I'm taking a small break from my story "Once Upon Again". Don't worry I didn't forget about it and yes it will be updated soon. This poem is about Sakura and Sasuke and is told from Sakura's POV. For now, just enjoy this little poem I wrote.
Memories
Visions of you overtake my sight
Your smile makes me feel so nostalgic
Just remembering that our time together had felt so right
And the things we did had felt like magic
The love that we shared couldn't be broken
The promises you made made me want to jump and fly
It seemed as though everything was perfect
But… your heart began to blacken
And the promises said were some hopeless lies
My pain fell and streamed down my face
The darkness was slowly engulfing my heart
To nothing I stared, with cheeks covered in crusted lace
How could something so right crumble and fall apart?
The anguish I feel inside makes me want to shout
But why is it that my mind refuses to let you out?
